Portable tool for finding outdated drivers

It needs to be emphasized from the get-go that you do not need to install Portable DUMo on your PC in order to benefit from its functions, so you can just copy it on a removable flash drive and run it from there whenever you want to.

Once you run it, the utility automatically scans your computer and creates a list with all the found drivers, thus making it easy for you to spot the ones that need to be updated.

Get a detailed list of your installed drivers

Due to Portable DUMo, you no longer need to be a tech-savvy user in order to know where to look to get information about certain drivers.

Since it comes with a highly intuitive and user-friendly GUI, you can view not only the device name for each driver, but also the manufacturer’s name and the installed version. When a more recent version of the driver has been released, the app displays its version number.

Export the list of drivers to TXT or CSV

Regardless of whether you decide to update your drivers or not, the aforementioned list still comes in handy once you export it to a standalone file. You can choose to save it to TXT or CSV, then share it with you friends or store it for later analysis.

The only drawback of Portable DUMo is that it leaves it up to you to browse the web to find a place to download the most recent driver version. Nonetheless, it makes the task a little less tedious since it displays the exact version number you need to look for.
