FLV Cap is one of the many applications out there that aims to help you download online MP3 streams, as well as play and convert FLV videos. It provides support for multiple input file types, namely FLV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, MOV, WAV, and MP3, while the range of output formats is even wider. You can convert videos to iPod, iPhone or PSP compatible formats, MPEG, AVI, RM, Zune WMV, 3GP and more.

During our tests, the application failed to download the streaming video on some occasions. However, its functioning might depend on the used Web browser and the websites you access. On the other hand, the video player and the converter worked properly.

To sum up, FLV Cap comes in handy to anyone who wants to download FLV or MP3 streams and create their own audio and video collection. Although sometimes it might not work as it should, the application includes a video player and a conversion tool that enable you to manage multimedia content easier.
